The fight scenes were powerful and breathtaking
A story of sisters, rich and poor, loyalty and betrayal, peace and war, and everything in between. They say that LoL’s big budget went into animation instead of balancing the champions in the game, and that couldn’t be more true. I didn’t expect such a masterful level of animation. After each episode, they found new ways to wow the audience with amazing visuals and transitions. Even though the series wasn’t completely canonized by the original lore, it’s still an intense story that created an interesting universe.
I wanted more and I hate waiting
I’m not going to lie, the first act didn’t really impress me, but episode 4 after that completely got me. The only problem with the story was that I just couldn’t get enough of it. As cool as the animation was, the characters were. Many of the character dynamics caught my attention and made me realize how much I needed them. I admit that some of the characters were simple, but not all of them were predictable.
Some still completely surprised me
The direction for all of the characters was incredible. Overall, even though the game was a love-hate relationship, Arcane was definitely love and a phenomenal step in creating LOLCU. 8.5/10..
